Zlatan Ibrahimovic is 40 years old, but he is still not thinking about the end of his career. However, he admitted that it makes him panic. Moreover, in a recent interview, he advised fans to enjoy it while they can.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is increasingly laboured with injuries, but nevertheless AC Milan still want him in their squad for next season. The Italian league leader would like to extend the Swedish legend’s contract, which expires in the summer.

But everything depends on Ibrahimovic. He is now 40 years old, and will celebrate his 41st birthday in October, but even so, when healthy, he has a lot to offer his team. After all, he is the third top scorer of his team this season.

And how does he see his future? “I feel a slight panic at the prospect of the end of my career. I will definitely play as long as possible. That is, as long as I get results and don’t suffer,” the veteran expressed to the media.

Ibrahimovic would like to end his career without any regrets. He wants to make the most of the time he has left. He is aware that it will be strange to wake up after his career and have no responsibilities, no stereotype.

“Still, I think the biggest sadness will be felt by the fans who won’t be able to watch me play anymore. They should enjoy it because they will never see players like me again,” the Swede added.

This season, Ibrahimovic has scored 8 goals in Serie A while playing only 18 games. Thanks to him, AC Milan is in first place in the Italian league.
