Leo Brichta was the main draw of the RFA’s inaugural Warm Up tournament. He destroyed his opponent in no time, but not in a way he would have liked. After the match, he commented on it with many bad words, which angered some fans. What did the promoter of the organization, Boris Marhansky, have to say?
The Real Fight Arena (RFA) organization has had its first tournament and now it’s time for a recap. The main event featuring Leo Brichta vs Tamirlan Dadaev pretty much fulfilled what was expected.
Brichta destroyed him in the first round and then commented on the fight in a very rude way, as he was not satisfied with his opponent’s pre-fight behavior and the subsequent development of the fight.
A lot of fans took issue with his comments. A fighter of this quality should certainly tone down his impulsive behaviour, but many are enjoying it. What does the organization’s promoter have to say?
“It’s in our name that we want to be real. And that applies first and foremost to the fighters themselves. Let them say what they really think, I have no problem with that.
Although it is true that Leo himself apologized to me after the tournament for his words. He himself wished that his match with Dadaev had gone completely differently, so he was a bit indignant.
Someone was amused by his comment, someone else was perhaps a little offended. But we won’t change anything about Leo,” Boris Marhansky told Kaocko.cz.
He then added that this main match was probably the most expensive. Brichta will also appear in the next tournament, but the opponent is not sure yet, as the one they have arranged has apologized.
