It was harder than I expected, Grealish said of the move to Manchester City. In an interview, he praised Guardiola
Jack Grealish moved from Aston Villa to Manchester City in the summer for an astronomical sum of over €100 million. At his former club, he was a key player on whom the game rested. However, he is only one of many in a Citizens jersey. He took some time to get used to playing for his new team, but now he is an important part of it. How does he rate the transfer?

Manchester City are still leading the Premier League table, and they can still challenge for the Champions League or the FA Cup. Jack Grealish, Pep Guardiola’s expensive summer signing, also has a part to play.
This season, although Grealish has only amassed 4 goals and 3 assists in 28 competitive games, he has fitted in well and although he is not as productive as he was at Aston Villa, he is an important part of Guardiola’s jigsaw.
In the beginning, the England international was a frequent target of criticism not only from the Citizens fans. However, in a recent interview, he revealed that the change of scenery has not been easy for him. After all, he has always been an Aston Villa player, after all, he was born in Birmingham.
“It’s great, I’m enjoying life at Manchester City. But it’s been harder than I expected. Both on and off the pitch. I suspected it would be leaving my comfort zone, but I’ve enjoyed it. I think that’s what life is all about. Experiencing something new,” he told the club’s website.
Grealish still finds it hard to bear when his team loses or when he himself is not doing well. It is exactly this side of his personality that the English footballer is trying to work with, he would like to improve in this respect.
The former Aston Villa star also had words of praise for coach Pep Guardiola: “He is an incredible and unreal coach. He just loves football. As soon as he steps into the booth, it’s all about football. He helps the team a lot.”
Besides, the 26-year-old Englishman claims that Guardiola has managed to win Manchester City games on his own just by the way he has set his charges up and the tactics he has set for them. He says the players then just go about doing the job assigned to them.
