A disgruntled Rashford is considering his future! He doesn’t like the workload
Marcus Rashford is not having a great season. He’s not doing well on the pitch and it’s showing in his game time. And it is because of the lack of opportunities that he is considering leaving the club.

The young English striker is undoubtedly one of the greatest talents that Manchester United’s academy has produced in recent times. Since the age of 18, he has been a regular for the A’s and has often been one of the main driving forces of the team.
This season, however, has been no slouch. He has hit 18 games in the Premier League, but has only started 9 times in the starting line-up. In 2022, even only twice. Moreover, he has only 4 league goals to his name. These are certainly not the numbers we’re used to seeing from Rashford.
Before Sunday’s derby with Manchester City, it seemed that with the absences of Cavani and Ronaldo, Rashford would surely appear in the starting lineup, but this time he only came off the bench.
The England international has been struggling with a major decline in form. No wonder, he has played a huge amount of games in recent years. Moreover, he confirmed last summer that he played most of last season, including the EURA, through injury.
It’s understandable that such a huge workload (65 games during the 20/21 season, an average of one game every 4.5 days) would take its toll on a player, and it’s no wonder that the decline in form and the loss of a place in the starting lineup came.
However, Rashford is not happy with his current workload and is thinking about his future, as reported by the very reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Like a true professional, Rashford doesn’t want to cause problems, but according to a source from the club’s environment, he wants to talk to the management about his situation.
Ralf Rangnick is determined to work with the player as he believes he can still achieve a lot at the club. However, the question is how the situation will develop in the summer when Rangnick moves into an advisory role and a new manager takes over the Red Devils.
