Thursday’s football schedule will feature not only the European Cups but also a match between the Premier League neighbours. Arsenal will welcome Wolverhampton to Emirates stadium, the winner can approach the Top 4.
Arsenal have managed the last two rounds of the Premier League, thanks to which they jumped to the sixth place of the table. They are sixth in the table, three points behind fourth-placed Manchester United with three games to go.
Wolverhampton have been in great form, winning four of their last eight league games and are in contention for European Cups. From seventh place, they are six points behind fourth-placed Manchester and have two rounds to play.
The mainstay of the home side is offensive midfielder Emile Smith-Rowe, the 21-year-old has scored nine league goals and assisted two. One year younger Bukayo Saka has made seven appearances, adding four assists.
At thirty-five, Joao Moutinho is still a mainstay, the Portuguese midfielder has scored two goals and assisted once so far. Raul Jimenez is also coming into form, the Mexican hitman has made five appearances, adding three assists.
Arsenal boast an unexpectedly good defence, the traditionally frequent goalscoring Gunners have the league’s sixth best defence (26 goals conceded).
Wolves have only conceded eighteen goals and have only fished the ball out of the net four times in the last eight rounds of the Premier League.
Given Arsenal’s form and the great comfort within the team, I think the home side will win.
