Brazilian MMA fighter Marney Maxx has shown that there are no limits when you have the heart of a fighter. At the Demo Fight 11 gala, he finished his opponent with a crushing head kick.
In the Brazilian state of Bahía, an MMA event called Demo Fight 11 took place at the end of January.
This is due to the fact that Marney Maxx is fighting with an amputated part of his left arm. Not many fighters and fans can imagine something like that.
But Maxx is obviously not limited by the aforementioned handicap. He makes up for his missing arm with powerful kicks that shake the courage of his opponents. At the gala he proved it in the first round. After 129 seconds, he finished his opponent in a way that sent the MMA world reeling.
As you can see below, a hard head kick sent Costa into dreamland. With this win, he adjusted his record in MMA to 4-4. Maxx has been fighting since 2013.
He may have been inspired by American fighter Nick “Notorius” Newell, who has also been competing with an amputated arm since 2009. He has compiled a professional record of 16-4 during his prolific career, including two KOs and eleven submissions.
Newell, who fought in Bellator or Dana White’s Contender Series, where he also tried to make it to the famous UFC, unfortunately lost to Alex Munoz in the most important fight of his career.
Nick even fought current UFC lightweight title challenger Justin Gaethje in 2014. But he knocked him out with a hard punch midway through the second round.
Both of the aforementioned fighters show tremendous heart, where despite their handicaps they have the courage to stand up to their opponents in the cage and inspire hundreds of thousands of people around the world with their incredible story.
