Brentford vs. Manchester United: Preview and betting tips

Manchester United have an important Champions League match on Wednesday. It goes to Brentford, where Arsenal and Liverpool have already dropped points this season. Will the Red Devils break the crisis and leave with a win?

Brentford are enjoying their first post-relegation season, they are fourteenth in the table and have a ten point lead on the relegation zone. On the other hand, they have lost four of their last five league games, so they must not rest on their laurels.

The visitors are paced by the ageless Cristiano Ronaldo, scoring eight times and assisting three times on the league stage. Under new coach Ralf Rangnick, Brazilian midfielder Fred has risen in performance and numbers.

Brentford’s offense has stopped working, scoring more than one goal in only one of their last five games, and three times they even came up empty.

Manchester United, on the other hand, are again struggling defensively, having conceded twenty-nine league goals. Only Leicester and West Ham are worse off in the top half of the table.

Given the improved form of Bruno Fernandes and the struggling Brentford offense, I think the visitors will win this time.
