It has long been speculated whether Dusan Vlahovic will leave Fiorentina in January. Several clubs were interested in the skilful striker. His departure is now closer as Fiorentina have acquired the striker on loan.
Polish striker Krzysztof Piatek, who belongs to Hertha Berlin, is going on loan to Italian side Fiorentina. The striker’s loan includes a clause for a future transfer option for the player.
Krzysztof Piatek, who will celebrate his 27th birthday this season, has already played in the Italian Serie A. He has played for Genoa and AC Milan. He played a total of 55 games there, scoring 26 goals. Now his career will continue at Fiorentina.
The Polish striker moved to Hertha at the beginning of last season, but the engagement did not work out. Hertha paid 23 million for him. He has scored one goal this season. The club and the player agreed that it needed a change.
Such an idea also suited Fiorentina, who are currently looking for a striker because their big star Dusan Vlahovic is on his way out. They have acquired the Polish striker on a six-month loan with an option to transfer.
Several leading European clubs are interested in the big transfer of Dusan Vlahovic. Currently, Manchester City and Arsenal are the most interested in him.
