Leo Brichta is definitely a fighter of the newly formed RFA organization, which will have 6 tournaments in 2021. The popular wrestler is expected to appear at the May one and promoter Boris Marhansky explained why he no longer has to take a fight in the Octagon.
In the fall, Leo Brichta’s name was widely discussed. In fact, he was the first Oktagon wrestler to come under the new RFA organization. The problem, however, was that he still had me under contract for one more fight under his old organization.
The others had already left after their contracts ended, so Brichta was still being dealt with. But now it looks like the popular fighter is definitely under RFA contract and won’t have to have his last fight in the Octagon.
“Regarding Leo Brichta, we were contacted by his new management to announce him for the May 14th event in Bratislava. From what I have information, Leo’s management and his lawyers have made multiple requests for the alleged contract that the other organization claims to have. And neither request has been granted.
I believe Leo’s lawyer even wrote back that if they don’t send the contract by a certain date, Leo will take it as he is a free agent. And that’s what happened. According to us, Leo does not have a valid contract with anyone else, so his contract with us is valid,” RFA promoter Boris Marhansky told iSport.
So it seems that everything is solved. The first RFA tournament is scheduled for March 12, featuring five amateur pairs who will compete to become RFA wrestlers.
The next tournament will be in May, and it should already be full of stars that most die-hard fans of the domestic fight scene are familiar with.
