Řepka: Sparta lacks a madman like me in the team! Kent led them around like Mynář led Zeman

Tomáš Řepka commented on Sparta’s performance at Rangers on his Instagram. What does he see as the problem and how to solve it?
After every Sparta outburst, Tomáš Řepka is asked by his fans on social media to comment. He presented his point of view the day after the loss at Ibrox Stadium, where Rangers FC play their home games.
According to Řepka, Sparta’s opponent on Thursday is only an average European club and Sparta definitely should have shown more. Apart from the two goals, which were helped by individual errors, Rangers did not have that much of an advantage, according to Řepka.
The well-known stormtrooper commented on the individual lines of the line-up or touched on the parts of the line-up where the boot was pressing.
“I don’t have a problem with the goaltenders, they showed that they can be relied on,” Řepka said. What about the defence?
“Wiesner is not a right back, but a right half, Hancko is not a left back, but a left stopper. Panak didn’t fit yesterday, he tries to solve things football-wise, ok, but I think it would be better to simplify it, but at stopper he is fine for me at the moment.”
He does not want to condemn Filip Panak, rather he is inclined to the opinion that he needs a controlling teammate next to him, who will support him in difficult moments. In the moments when things are not going well for the player, as they say, who will encourage him to perform better and help his self-confidence.
“I would like to have a crazy guy like me, half the size, but someone who will be a clear support and will ride the ass and kick ass,” thinks the 47-year-old back line support of Red Genoa.
Ladislav Krejci Jr. started against Rangers as a second stopper, but Řepka would rather see him as a defensive midfielder. That leaves Štětina, whom Řepka definitely does not prefer, so Vitík is the last possible option. But does he meet the parameters that Řepka envisions? That’s a question for the ages.
“I would move Wiesner up one position. And Gabriel at right-back,” offers Řepka a solution for the right side of the defence.
“Vrba should give more chances to the youngsters. Only when Karabec and Pulkrab arrived did the game open up a bit, ” he concludes.
In a humorous twist, he linked politics with the world of sport, comparing the midfielder Kent’s performance on the pitch to the art of Vratislav Mynar’s backroom games.
