The Seškivians experienced the legendary stormy atmosphere inside the De Kuip arena. But what went on in Rotterdam last night, under the baton of hard core Feyenoord ultras, went much further.
The ultras were stirred up by new restrictions against a growing pandemic. They clashed with local police right on the streets of the second most populous city in the Netherlands, and there was even a shooting reportedly triggered by police officers.
The frantic footage from the streets shows a frenzied crowd and literal chaos. Meanwhile, Feyenoord fans are expected to travel to Prague to face Slavia on Thursday. However, the question is whether the situation will change quickly.
Let’s hope that the wildness and aggression that the ultras showed in the streets of Rotterdam will not continue in Prague. The logic of the matter suggests that the ultras will probably be pretty angry.
Look at the crazy footage where even gunfire can be heard. The clashes between the ultras and the police reportedly left 7 injured, two of whom were hit by gunfire.
