Brazil vs. Germany. Who has the better stats at the World Cup?

Germany was the first country in the world to qualify for the World Cup, specifically on October 11. Apart from Qatar, of course, which is assured of participation as host country.
It was Brazil that decided its progress in the match against Colombia, which it managed to beat 1-0. Moreover, the Canaries played at home in Sao Paulo, so they could immediately celebrate their success with their fans.
In the match against Colombia, the only scorer was Lyon’s Lucas Paqueta, who was assisted by Neymar. The star Brazilian has scored seven goals and collected eight assists in his last nine games for the national team.
Brazil have won 11 times and drawn once in their last 12 matches. Thus, they have accumulated an incredible 34 points in the qualification and thanks to this they can also enjoy qualification for their next World Cup, where they will be among the favourites.

As already mentioned, the Canaries are the only nation to have participated in all 21 World Cups organised by FIFA. The Germans are second with 19, Italy with 18, Argentina with 17 and Mexico with 16.
At the same time, the Brazilians have the most gold medals, 5 in total, adding 2 silvers and 2 bronzes. Germany has only 4 gold medals, but has added 4 silver and the same number of bronze.
As far as the podium is concerned, our neighbours were on it 12 times, while the Brazilians 9 times. In total, 20 countries won at least a bronze medal, of which we achieved two silver.
It is also interesting to note that both Brazil and Germany have played 109 matches at the World Championships so far. Both nations are similar in terms of goals scored, with the Brazilians scoring 229 goals and the Germans 226.
Brazil are slightly better off in terms of points. The Canaries have so far collected 237 points from 73 wins, 18 draws and 18 losses, while the Germans have 221 points from 67 wins, 20 draws and 22 losses.
