There has been a lot of speculation in recent days about the future of Sergio Ramos, who signed for PSG in the summer. He hasn’t played a single game for his new employer so far. How does it look for him?
PSG have been strengthening massively over the summer. But not all of the signings have played a major role in the new season. For example, star Sergio Ramos is still getting his health back together.
In the last week, speculation has been rife that the Parisian club no longer count on his services. It is said that he will never be able to play at the top level and perform as he did at Real Madrid.
After all, he is already 35 years old, so it would be no shame. But things are obviously very different.
“Sergio is neither planning to retire nor to renege on his contract. No one doubts him. As soon as he can, he will play,” Rene Ramos’ brother and agent in one person told El Mundo.
His words were more or less confirmed by PSG. The Spanish stopper is expected to join training this week and could potentially make his long-awaited debut after the national break.
Ramos has signed a contract at PSG until the summer of 2023, so he still has plenty of time to prove his qualities and convince the management that he belongs in the team.
