EFL Cup draw: Soucek and co. face tough opponent, Arteta vs. Bielsa

There are only 16 teams left in the English EFL Cup and each of them knows their opponent. West Ham, with a trio of Czech players, after knocking out Manchester United, will face another team from Manchester, this time it will be the Citizens. Let’s take a look at the next game.

QPR vs. Sunderland could be an interesting duel. Neither team plays in the Premier League, so the chance to fight for the quarterfinals and challenge a strong opponent in it is enough motivation. Sunderland haven’t faced a strong opponent yet, QPR faced Everton and beat them 3-2.

West Ham, for whom Soucek, Coufal and King play, will challenge Manchester City at their ground. The Hammers managed to beat Manchester United 1: 0, with King making his debut for United. The Citizens shot against Wycombe in the previous round and won 6: 1.

Chelsea vs. Southampton also offers us an interesting duel. Burnley play Tottenham in their penultimate game. Tottenham managed to advance against Wolves only after penalties, so Burnley can feel the chance of advancing over a stronger opponent.

The last game will be between Leicester and Brighton. Both teams had easy opponents and slipped into this round without any problems. Leicester will be the favourites in the duel, but Brighton won’t give up anything up front.
