The trouble between Arteta and Aubameyang is finally over. The Gunners captain is back in full form, reportedly
The North London Derby is just around the corner and Mikel Arteta is already fine-tuning the starting line-up, which should include Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who the Spanish coach says is in great form. Really?

Looking at the league form of both teams, one fact strikes us. While Arsenal lost their opening three games of the season and won their last two, Tottenham have it exactly backwards.
However, apart from the opening game against Brentford, the Gunners haven’t had an easy start at all, with games against Chelsea and Manchester City to follow. After the opening three rounds, Arsenal were in last place with no points and no goals scored.
But then came the clash with Norwich and that’s when Aubameyang woke up and managed to score his first league goal of the current season, giving Arsenal their first three points.
It should also be noted that this was not the first goal scored by the Gunners captain. Back in August, he contributed a hat-trick in a cup match with West Brom. But I wouldn’t talk about any great form personally.
Arteta, however, is of a different opinion and there is nothing left but to trust the Spanish coach. After all, he is in daily contact with him and the problems they had together last season seem to have been solved.
“I think Auba is in a different position now. It doesn’t mean he was in a bad position then, it was just an incident we had as a team. Now he is in very good shape. I think the way he played against Burnley, even though he didn’t score, was extraordinary. And that was in the sense of how he worked for the team, so we expect the same from him,” Arteta told a news conference on Friday.
Last season, Aubameyang scored just 15 in 39 games in an Arsenal jersey, which is definitely far beyond expectations. This season, he is practically in his third season and all Gunners fans believe that the Gabonese speedster will finally get going.
Arsenal are currently 13th in the Premier League and have only two goals scored. Moreover, the stats are against the home side as well, as they have won only once out of the last 7 matches between them.
