Příbram is not doing well in the second league either. After the seventh round it is only a point above the relegation zone

The Příbram footballers definitely imagined the start of the second league season differently. After the first seven rounds, they are 14th in the table and only one point above the relegation to the third league.

The management of Příbram gave the team a clear goal and that is an immediate return to the top league. Now, however, they have the opposite concern, as Příbram are in 14th place and may struggle to save themselves in the second league.

And Příbram has made a great start to this season. In the first round they managed to beat Prostějov, who finished third in the previous season. But then came a steep fall.

Losses came against Taborsk, Žižkov, Sparta reserve and Brno, while Příbram amicably parted ways with Varnsdorf and Ústí nad Labem.

One would expect that the team that would prefer to see itself in the first league would fix its mood in the domestic cup, from which it can then bounce back to better results.

However, Příbram struggled here as well and won narrow 1:0 victories against the third league team Admira Praha and the divisional team Baník Most – Souš. Both games were decided in the second half.

Příbram will try to break the crisis on Friday in a match against Dukla Prague. Dukla, however, leads the second league and will be driven by their home environment. It will be very difficult for Příbram to get points in this match.
