When he first joined Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo won trophy after trophy under Sir Alex Ferguson. But now the Red Devils are not so successful, they have been waiting for a trophy since 2017. The Portuguese wants to change that.

Cristiano Ronaldo could make his first start since returning to Manchester United as early as this weekend. His new team will welcome Newcastle to Old Trafford on Saturday.

“Of course I’m a bit nervous, but that’s natural. I will be ready on Saturday and I will push Ole to put me in the starting line-up,” the Portuguese sharpshooter told MUTV with a smile.

Manchester United have been waiting for a couple of years to win a trophy. “That’ s why I’m here. I didn’t come for a holiday. I have won big trophies here in the past and now I want the same. My teammates and I are capable of doing that. We want to be one step ahead.”

The new Red Devils star is already 36 years old, but is she planning an end? Nope. On the contrary, he says Manchester United will be truly dangerous in the next four years.

“I’m different from the others. I prove it all the time and now it will be no different,” Ronaldo responded to various rumours pointing to his age.

Will the Portuguese superstar confirm his words as early as Saturday against Newcastle?
