Everton vs. Burnley: Preview and betting tips
Everton and Burnley take on Burnley in the fourth round of the Premier League. Both teams go into the game in different roles, while the home side are just two points behind first placed Tottenham, the visitors have only scored once so far.
Everton are satisfied after three rounds. After a win against Southampton, they drew with Leeds, but they made up for it against Brighton (2: 0). With seven points, they are in a nice sixth place in the table.
As expected, Burnley are on the other side of the table. After defeats against Brighton and Liverpool in the third round, it finally scored a point, while the draw with Leeds moved it to the sixteenth position.
Summer signing Demarai Gray has caught on quickly at Everton, the English winger has already scored two goals and assisted once. Strikers Dominic Calvert Lewin and Richarlison are also in good form, not forgetting Lucas Digne.
In the Burnley squad, Matej Vydra asked for more workload as he underlined his good performance from the national team match against Ukraine with a goal. In attack, Chris Wood and Ashley Barnes get priority at his expense.
Everton rely on a goal-scoring offense, scoring at least two goals in all four competitive games this season.
It is Burnley who value every goal, scoring just two in their last five games.
Given the good form of the home side and the positive atmosphere at the club, I think Everton will win the game.
