While Sparta fans are happy about the interesting draw in the Champions League, they are partly worried about racist insults from some individuals in their ranks during one of the matches.
At least with Rangers, however, this will be avoided. The Scottish champions will be the first of their European opponents to play at Letná, so it will be played in an empty stadium. Many supporters are therefore partially relieved.
However, Letná will open the Europa League with a trip to Denmark. On 16 September, Pavel Vrba’s charges will take on Brondby.
The home match with Rangers will come 14 days later, while on 21 October the French big club Olympique Lyon will come to Letná.
Sparta will travel to French soil on 4 November and will taste the stormy atmosphere in Scotland 21 days later. The Prague team will finish the regular group with a home game against Brondby on 9 December.
