Crazy miss! Look at the unlucky own goal by Slavia

Slavia played Ferencváros in the third round of the Champions League and were very active in the first half. However, all the effort was overshadowed by an unfortunate moment when Kačaraba’s pass skipped over Kolář’s foot and went over the line.

Slavia regularly tries to play combinatively at the back and in many cases it works. Ondřej Kolář is a key player for Jindřich Trpišovský, but even he can make mistakes.

In the league match in Teplice he played with the ball for so long that the Skláři took it away from him and finished into the open net.

Against Ferencváros, Kolář showed much more concentration, in more difficult situations he preferred to kick the ball away from the first touch instead of making a bold pass, but not before the incriminating moment.

In the 44th minute, Kacharaba made a great comeback and stopped the home team’s action with a slip. The ball went to Kolar, right in the middle of the goal. The goalkeeper wanted to handle the ball, but it was fatal for him.

The ball bounced over the turf in the small penalty area and skipped over Kolář’s leg. The 26-year-old goalkeeper could do nothing about it.

It’s a very unfortunate situation because the blame does not lie with any of the players. Kacharaba couldn’t do anything else, Kolář didn’t play any tricks, but he was let down by the terrain.

Anyway, the miss will probably go to Kolář, who could have kicked the ball from the first and nothing would have happened. However, he’s a learned midfielder, so there was nothing he could do about the situation.
