Is he being too hard on himself? Spartan hero was not satisfied with his performance
Jakub Pešek has only recently joined Sparta. As a member of the Czech national team, he reached the quarterfinals of the Euro 2020, but unfortunately did not play a single minute. After a short time, Pešek is considered a hero in Sparta as he shot them through to the 3rd round of the Champions League. Still, he was hard on himself. What did he say?

He grew up in Sparta, but he developed into a great footballer at Slovan Liberec in Podysted. He was showered with praise by football journalists and fans alike. Jan Vacek, a journalist for the daily Sport, praised his contribution to the team.
” Who else should have scored the promotion goal but Pešek, who played great today. Very important achievement by Sparta. For the development and experience of the players (at least EL), for the club (more money) and for the whole Czech football (points for the coefficient). So well deserved. Oh, and thanks for the winning ticket.”
the 28-year-old winger gave an interview to Sport 1 immediately after the match and the ordinary spectator was not surprised by his modesty.
“The great fans drove us to the promotion and to the victory, so we appreciate them a lot and we are happy that we did it.”
“Game-wise, I think there were a lot of losses. From a personal point of view, I was not satisfied with my performance, but I was at the scoring chances and situations,” Jakub Pesek surprised with critical words.
Anyway, this approach is very positive if you know how to work with it. Especially with dissatisfaction and the desire to improve, the player is still driven by the desire to continue to work on himself and move forward.
