Are they crazy?! Tens of thousands of English people have signed a petition for a repeat of the Euro finals
More than 125,000 frustrated England fans have already signed a petition calling for a replay of Sunday’s European Championship final, which Italy won after a penalty shoot-out. They said it was unfair because it was officiated by a “biased referee”.

The island’s fans are clearly still riding a wave of frustration days after the end of the Euros. After 55 long years, their team has made it to the final of an international tournament but failed to win.
So the English are venting their anger and complaining about poor refereeing in several situations. They believe that at least two players should have been sent off for fouls on Gareth Southgate’s charges.
One of the recipients of these complaints is Jorginho, who stomped on Jack Grealish’s knee during extra time. But fortunately, the Aston Villa midfielder did not suffer a serious injury and his counterpart only saw a yellow card.
Probably even more debatable then was the handbrake of Giorgio Chiellini, who pulled the jersey of the fleeing Bukayo Saku for a few seconds in the second half’s set-up, stopping his impending solo breakaway. He too saw “only” a yellow for his intervention.
The petition was started on Change by Sharon Guilmen, who added: ” The final match was not fair. The Italians only got a yellow card for pulling the English players like slaves. The referee was definitely biased. Italy should have been red-carded for their play and the replay should have been played with an unbiased referee. This was not fair at all.”
Meanwhile, Dutch referee Bjorn Kuipers pulled out five yellow cards against Italian players during the match and only once, in the case of Harry Maguire, against an England player.
The petition aims to get 150,000 signatures, but even if it succeeds, it is more than unlikely that UEFA will even consider it.
