Sci-fi? The Smallings said they saw a UFO. Check out the footballer’s wife’s testimony
Phantasmagoria? It’s really hard to say, but it’s very likely. Not according to Chris Smalling, though. First of all, his wife is convinced she saw a UFO in the sky.

AS Rome defender Chris Smalling claims that he and his wife saw an unidentified flying object, or UFO, in the sky on Saturday night. The incident is believed to have occurred while their family was on holiday.
Sam Smalling subsequently described everything on her Instagram, where she posted a story about it straight away.
“Okay, I promise we are not under the influence of any sponges or any other drugs. Chris and I saw a UFO in the sky last night. I don’t think this could be a plane.”
“It came down slowly and flew past us. Then it shot back up into the sky, where it stayed for about an hour (maybe even longer, but we had to leave).”
“It was too small for me to get a shot of it as it was hovering in the sky, although Chris could see the rotating object surrounded by glowing lights.”
Before the UFO sort of shot back up the rotating and hovering object in the sky was described by Smalling’s wife as massive and completely silent.
Based on her words, it looked like 3D rectangles rotating around each other with lights moving around the edges of the object.
