His lifeless body was subsequently resuscitated by paramedics and the player left the pitch on a stretcher after many minutes.
The hospital subsequently gave the excellent news that Eriksen is alive and in a stable condition. This event was also noticed by the players who came on for the Belgium-Russia match.
And it was after the first goal that the Danish footballer was greeted. It was scored by Romelu Lukaku, his teammate and Italian Inter.
“Chris, Chris, I love you!” said the Belgian forward. Thanks to him, Belgium won against Russia. What about Denmark?
The game went to the wire and the players showed it. In the end, Finland dominated the game with one goal and Denmark’s chances of qualifying from the group were significantly reduced.
