Arsenal looking for a midfielder, will Arteta point to Rice, Caicedo or perhaps both?
Mikel Arteta apparently wants to bring in a quality midfield reinforcement to Arsenal primarily after this season. He is very interested in the services of Declan Rice from West Ham United and Moises Caicedo from Brighton. Will he choose one of them, or will he end up bringing in both of them?

Granit Xhaka has been rocking the centre of the midfield formation this season along with Thomas Partey, but Arteta wants to improve the midfield and increase the competition.
He has two highly-rated midfielders in his sights, both of whom have played for smaller English Premier League sides.
Rice has been a mainstay of West Ham and the Albion national team for many years, with top league sides such as Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool sharpening their teeth on him.
However, Arsenal look likely to get into pole position this summer. Back in January, the Gunners were very interested in Caicedo, another player who is being courted by big Premier League clubs.
Arsenal ultimately failed and brought in a cheaper option in the form of Jorginho from rival Chelsea, but the Ecuadorian still remains on the radar.
Arteta is a fan of the play of both Rice and Caicedo, and if a good opportunity arises in the summer, he may try to bring them both to Arsenal. If that’s the case, the Canaries will have to dig deep into their wallet.
The renowned Transfermarkt site estimates Rice’s price tag at €80 million, Caicedo’s at €55 million (but realistically it could be even more).
It would be a costly investment for Arsenal, but it would be for the future. Rice is twenty-four years old, Caicedo is even only twenty-one.
