Michael Krmencik was really visible in the last game of his team Persija Jakarta. The Czech striker managed to score a hat-trick, but he burned a lot of chances and if he was in shape, he could have had two hat-tricks. Well, take a look for yourself.
Michael Krmencik was really visible in the last game of his team Persija Jakarta. The Czech striker managed to score a hat-trick, but he burned a lot of chances and if he was in shape, he could have had two hat-tricks. Well, take a look for yourself.
He recently celebrated his 30th birthday, but he is clearly not having the best moments of his career. Michael Krmencik sat out in Indonesia and was often criticised for his attitude.
But on Saturday, he finally showed up. He managed to score three goals into the net of PSS Sleman, a relegation candidate, and helped his team to win 5:0.
Krmenčík scored the opening goal in the second minute when a teammate fed him the ball and the Czech striker sent it into the empty net.
He increased the lead after less than half an hour of play when, after a beautiful centre, he scored again into an empty net, but this time with his head. But he cannot be praised for his run.
He completed his hat-trick in the third set minute of an interesting match, running in behind the defence and sliding past the helpless goalkeeper who received an unpopular foul in the match.
From this summary, one could easily say that Krmencik played an excellent game and can be satisfied. However, this is not entirely true.
The former striker of Viktoria Plzeň or Prague Slavia burned a huge number of scoring opportunities. You can see that in the attached video.
The Czech forward hit the bar, but if he hadn’t been burning chances like on a treadmill, he could have easily had two hat-tricks. But he seems to realize that himself.
Fortunately for his team, it may not matter to him and Persija is currently second behind Makassar with a six-point deficit. The rival in the quest for the title, however, has a game in hand.
