The RFA has its first title match! Undefeated Humburger and Avramovich will face off in the middleweight division
Dominik Humburger and Nenad Avramovic have had two fights in the Real Fight Arena organization. In both they walked away as winners, and we would be looking in vain for better fighters than these two stars in the RFA middleweight division at the moment.
Dominik Humburger and Nenad Avramovic have had two fights in the Real Fight Arena organization. In both they walked away as winners, and we would be looking in vain for better fighters than these two stars in the RFA middleweight division at the moment. The only logical solution was to combine them in a title fight, which will take place on June 10, 2023 at the Bratislava Dome of Sport as part of RFA 11.
After the organization’s two opening galas, the RFA will return to Bratislava for the first time with the Warm-Up and Grand Opening tournaments. This time, however, spectators will enjoy the tournament even more, as RFA 11 is a VIP event and fans will be able to make themselves comfortable at the tables at the expense of seats in the stands.
4 games, 4 wins
Dominik Humburger came to RFA as a fighter who was just starting out in MMA among the pros, where he had a 2-0 record at the time. In his debut, he made quick work of Abilay Ibrayev, and despite getting taken down early in the 1st round, he rolled his opponent up and finished him on Ground and Pound.
Then came his opportunity to showcase his skills in KSW, Poland, where he stopped the home town Boris Borkowski with a hard 2nd round stoppage. “Hambac” returned to the RFA and finished Milan Datelinka in style.
The Czech fighter went through several uncomfortable situations in the opening five minutes, but managed to survive them until the horn. Datelinka got tired and came into the 2nd round extremely exhausted.
For Humburger, this victory was also crucial in that he continued to maintain his unbeaten record, which he confirmed in Liberec at KSW 79, when this top European organization first entered our market.
Although the Brazilian Bueno was uncomfortable shortening the distance and trying to get Dominik down, the Czech representative showed a great tactical performance. He won with all the judges and adjusted his record to a respectable 6-0.
On the ground, he did what he wanted with them
Nenad Avramovic’s road to the RFA title fight wasn’t a long one, but the Serbian fighter was pigeonholed as an elite contender from the moment he joined the organization. In the RFA Grand Opening main event, he shockingly finished Cloverleaf with a guillotine and properly shuffled the cards throughout the middleweight division.
At the time, both Cloverleaf and David Hosek were considered hot candidates for the title, but Avramovich spoiled the rematch and instead of Cloverleaf, the Serb took on Hosek. In each round he managed to get Hosek to the ground where he controlled him without much trouble. Avramovic blunted Hosko’s biggest weapons and scored a points victory after a great tactical performance.
Their paths cross at the VIP event
Humburger has already appeared twice in tournaments with KSW’s Polish affiliate, but his primary organization is still Real Fight Arena. There, he can become that organization’s first-ever MMA champion, and only Avramovich, for whom this will be the biggest opportunity of his career, can stop him.
We will see their mutual title fight at the RFA 11 VIP event in Bratislava. If you like to chill out during galas, you’ll be in for a treat on June 10. The RFA has increased the number of tables due to the great interest of the fans, but the spectacularly attuned fans will surely find something to enjoy at the House of Sports.
