VIDEO: Juliš’s teammate scored one of the goals of the year! Chestwork, flipping the opponent, chestwork and a great shot into the net
On Saturday, Lukáš Juliš could enjoy the role of a spectator directly on the playing field. One of his teammates scored a phenomenal goal that should undoubtedly be in the running for the goal of the year award.
Former Sparta Prague striker Lukáš Juliš is on a rescue mission in the second Spanish league. He left Letná in January and headed towards Ibiza, where he can enjoy the pleasant weather in addition to football.
But he hasn’t scored in six games for Ibiza. He hasn’t even notched an assist. Fortunately, Julio’s team is not losing. On Saturday, he stretched his streak of games without a loss to five games, which is extremely important given his position in the table.
Ibiza is in the relegation zone and nine points behind the non-relegation positions. They must therefore ideally win. And that’s what they did on Saturday when Juliš and co. overcame Burgos 2-0.
Juliš played 83 minutes in the match and was able to watch one of his teammates score an exhibition goal right from the field. It was the 68th minute when midfielder Iván Morante scored a great football moment.
The 22-year-old Spanish footballer got the ball in front of the opposition’s sixteen after it was cleared by one of the defenders. Morante worked his meruna on his chest, outmuscled his opponent, worked his chest once more and then fired an uncatchable shot into the crossbar.
It was the first ever goal this season for the player, who has played for Villarreal and Real Madrid youth teams. And it really couldn’t have been better. A wonderful footballing moment.
Morante isn’t much of a goalscorer overall. He scored his only goal for Real Madrid’s reserves, and he also scored once for the youth team in the Champions League.
