PUMA signs Manchester City player and England international Jack Grealish
Global sports brand PUMA has signed a long-term partnership with Britain’s most expensive player of all time, Jack Grealish. Regarded as one of Europe’s most creative and exciting players ever, Jack is a Premier League champion and has made more than 290 professional appearances, including 29 games for the England national team.
Jack Grealish made his professional debut at the age of eighteen and joined Manchester City in August 2021, where he won his first major trophy and helped City win their sixth Premier League title.
A player who City fans will call nothing but ‘Super Jack’, he has a distinctive style on and off the pitch. He is an imaginative, energetic footballer who drives the game and sets the pace. He is a constant threat to opposing defences. Thanks to his total control and creativity, his style of play is a perfect match for the PUMA FUTURE football boots.
Following the announcement of the collaboration, Jack spoke about his decision to join the PUMA brand and his plans for the future.
“PUMA is a perfect fit for me. It has an amazing history in football and has connected me with some of the best players in the world. I am delighted to join this unique family and become the face of PUMA FUTURE. My home is on the pitch and on the pitch I want to show who I really am. That’s why I love the Puma brand, which does things differently and has a great feel for football,” said Jack Grealish.
“But PUMA is more than just a sports equipment brand, it plays a huge role in an entire culture and lifestyle. I’m always all about football, but I also love fashion and style, so there are lots of exciting projects on and off the pitch that we plan to work on together,” he added.
“Jack Grealish is one of the most exciting players in Europe, with his excellent technical skills and quick feet he can be the difference between losing and winning for a team. His artistry and distinctive style make the eyes turn to him on and off the field, making him an ideal member of the PUMA family,” said Johan Adamsson, Global Director of Sports Marketing and Sports Licensing at PUMA.
“We want Jack to become one of the main faces of the brand in football and culture. We will be able to leverage Jack’s position in many of our fashion initiatives and will be happy to work with him on many of his personal issues.”
