We bring you the current ranking of the ten most valuable Czech football players. Tomáš Souček and Patrik Schick at the top are a bit out of step with the others, followed by Adam Hložek in third place.
1. tomáš Souček (€45 million)
Unsurprisingly, Tomas Soucek holds the top spot. The Czech midfielder has been playing for West Ham in the Premier League for a long time and has thrived in the best league in the world.
After his transfer at the beginning of 2020, Soucek’s market value was €15 million. However, his performances quickly claimed a place in the starting line-up and his value gradually increased. He is now valued at €45 million.
2. place – Patrik Schick (€38 million)
The second place in the ranking belongs to Patrik Schick, who is valued at €38 million. However, this is not the highest value that the Czech striker’s name has shone, as in June last year Patrik Schick had a market value of €50 million. However, due to injury, this was followed by a drop of 12 million.
3. adam Hložek (€15 million)
At 20 years old, Adam Hložek is struggling in his first foreign engagement. Although he is growing alongside national teammate Patrik Schick, he is still searching for his Czech league form at Leverkusen.
But Hložek is a young player and will need time. Still, he is a great promise for the future.
4. place – Antonín Barák (€12m)
Antonín Barák is the Czech representative in the Italian league. The Czech midfielder has already been through Udinese, Lecce, Verona and now he is playing for Fiorentina in Italy. Barák is happy in the south of Europe and has yet to return to the Czech Republic.
5. place – Vladimír Coufal (€9 million)
Although Vladimír Coufal hasn’t put in as strong a performance as he did at the start of his English engagement, he is still a very valid player for West Ham.
Coufal can now benefit from the fact that nobody knew him when he arrived in England. After all, at the time of the transfer his market value was valued at €2 million. The Czech defender has managed to increase that value more than four times during his time here.
6. place – David Zima (€5.5 million)
At twenty-two, David Zima is still a very talented player with potential for the future. However, he has now suffered a major stroke of bad luck in Turin after injuring his knee in early February. Due to this injury he has to be absent for a long time.
7. place – Tomáš Holeš (€5 million)
Even Tomas Holes, at the age of twenty-nine, is dealing with frequent injury problems. But now he is back on the pitch and coach Trpišovský is incorporating him back into the line-up. In midfield he is a very important player for Slavia, but it is very important for Holeš to stay healthy.
8. – 10th place – Jindřich Staněk, Alex Král, Ladislav Krejčí (€4.5m)
In a split eighth place there are three footballers. While Jindřich Staněk and Ladislav Krejčí are representatives of the Czech league, Alex Král plays for Schalke in the Bundesliga.
But all of them are still young players, as the oldest Staněk is 26 years old. So it is more than likely that all these players will still try to fight for a bigger transfer.
