The battle for the Premier League title is won by Manchester City! Citizens are first after winning at the Emirates

The big Premier League showpiece, which for many fans overshadowed even the Champions League semi-final. Visiting Manchester City had the better of the match, sending Kevin De Bruyne into the lead. But Bukayo Saka equalised from the penalty spot in the first half.

Arsenal were just three points ahead of the Citizens ahead of the Premier League match, with a game to play. The result of the first two teams could have been a clue.

Arsenal fans were already hit by the news before the match that Thomas Partey did not travel with the team, who was replaced in the lineup by Jorginho.

Arsenal, however, were not deterred and began to press even harder. It culminated before half-time when Ederson fouled Nketiah and was awarded a penalty by referee Taylor. It was easily converted by Bukayo Saka.

Twenty minutes from the end, Manchester City began to push hard for the win. Bernardo Silva took advantage of the loss in midfield and sent Haaland on a breakaway who still pushed Gundogan, but the German midfielder didn’t shoot either and dropped the ball to Grealish who scored.

The Citizens added the decisive goal eight minutes from the end when league top scorer Erling Haaland scored. Manchester City won 3-1 and jumped to the top of the table.
