68 minutes and counting. FCSB owner asks Ondrasek to cancel his contract

Zdeněk Ondrášek must have known that FCSB owner Gigi Becali is not an easy acquisition. But he probably never expected to have such an adventure with him even in his worst dreams.

Zdeněk Ondrášek was looking for a new job after the end of his time in Plzeň, and finally landed in FCSB Romania. “It is the best choice,” the experienced striker believed upon his arrival in Bucharest.

But now he would like to take back his words and make a completely different decision. And he would definitely avoid FCSB, especially the club’s capricious owner Gigi Becali.

The Explzeň forward made his debut in the first round of the Romanian league against Botosani, coming on for the second half, but 45 minutes were enough for Becali to condemn his player.

” I saw Ondrasek for 45 minutes. He is not a player for our team, he cannot get to our level,” he condemned the fresh signing.

He spent the whole game on the bench in the Conference Preliminary Round against Shakhtar Karaganda, but in the league game against Craiova University he played 23 minutes. And the controversial owner was not convinced again.

According to Romanian journalist Emanuel Ros, Ondrasek will be asked by owner Becali to cancel his contract. After only 68 minutes played.
