60 million euros for a 16-year-old Brazilian? Real Madrid doesn’t want to miss out on the super talent, but is negotiating a lower price

Only 16-year-old Endrick Felipe has so impressed Real Madrid’s management that the club decided not to delay and sent representatives to Sao Paulo to sign the Brazilian super talent, whose buyout clause is 60 million euros, before the competition does.

Endrick is a 173 cm tall striker who is brimming with speed, good dribbling and is very strong on the ball. In short, he has all the qualities to be an excellent striker. To do that, of course, he needs killer instincts, which he also possesses.

The native of Brasília was brought up for big football by Palmeiras, whose A-team he broke into this summer and in his penultimate league game scored two goals in 45 minutes, his first. He lived up to his reputation as a killer in the next game when he hit the Fortaleza net.

Moreover, Endrick surpassed all the legendary Brazilians with this feat, becoming the youngest scorer in the Brazilian Serie A at the age of 16 years, 3 months and 5 days. Vinícius Junior scored his first goal on 20 August 2017 at the age of 17 years 1 month and 8 days, Neymar on 21 June 2009 at the age of 17 years 4 months and 16 days.

It is therefore not surprising that perhaps all European big clubs are interested in Endrick, with Real Madrid being the biggest favourite to get him, where Vinícius Jr. and Rodrygo, two players whose services the White Ballet also secured at a very young age, are already active. The left winger cost the Spanish club €45 million at the age of 16.

This risk has paid off, as the winger is now a mainstay at Real Madrid and one of the best players in his position. A number of Brazilians operating at this club may then play a major role in his transfer to Madrid in particular.

Although Endrick has a buyout clause of €60 million, according to Marca, the deal could close at €35 or €40 million, even less than that of Vinícius Jr.
