The Superliga of small football will enter its fifth round on Sunday. All six matches will be played within three days, which will conclude the first half of the basic part of the national competition. Let’s take a look at the individual matches.

Jihlava – MF Blanensko, Sunday 20.00

Last season Blanensko excelled in the regular season and swept Jihlava in both matches 8: 3 and 10: 3. But in the new season both teams are in different situations.

While the team from Vysočina is in second place in the eastern group behind Olomouc, Blanensko is only fourth. In the last round, the South Moravians did not score a goal and lost 0:5 in Ostrava. Jihlava fell 2:5 at Olomouc.

Vikings Brno – MF Baník Ostrava, Monday 19.30

The Brno Vikings enjoyed their first win of the season in the last round, although they won 4:3 in Pardubice only after a penalty shootout.

Baník Ostrava beat Blanensko 5:0 at home and has a three-point lead over fifth-placed Brno in the third place of the table. Last season, the South Moravians won both games 13:2 at home and 4:1 in Ostrava.

Olomouc Mighty Ducks – PAMAKO Pardubice, Monday 19.30

The clash between the first and the second team of the eastern group, which are separated by an abysmal eleven points after four rounds, will take place on Monday evening.

The leader of the table will welcome Pardubice, who earned their first point of the season thanks to a penalty shootout against Brno. Both duels last season went better for the visiting team, the Mighty Ducks won 4:3 in Pardubice, but fell 2:6 at home.

Partyzan Příbram – Most, Tuesday 19.00

The second and fourth teams of the western group will play in Příbram, where Most will visit. The northerners will come strengthened by their last win 3:2 on penalties at Prague’s Hanspaulka, while Partyzan won comfortably 5:1 in Pilsen.

Příbram is only a point ahead of fourth-placed Most in second place. Last season Most dominated both meetings, 7:5 in Příbram and 4:3 at home.

Rytíři Plzeň – Vlci Kolín, Tuesday 20::00

Only in the fifth round will one of these rivals finally get a win. Both the fifth-ranked Vlci Kolín and the sixth-ranked Rytíři Plzeň have only collected defeats in the past four rounds, and the duel in western Bohemia will bring one of the teams the joy of winning for the first time this season.

Last season, both matches ended in a wild result, with someone else celebrating each time. In October Pilsen won 10:2 at home, in April Cologne won 11:3 at home.

SC Koráb Praha – Hanspaulka Praha, Tuesday 20.30

A cracking Prague duel will close the opening half of the Superliga of small football. The third Koráb will welcome the leading team of the western group Hanspaulka on their field, but only one point separates the two in the table.

While Koráb brought home a 6:0 win from Kolín in the last round, the defending champions lost to Most 2:3 in a penalty shootout at home. Both matches of the last season were also decided by a penalty kick. Koráb won 4:3 at home, Hanspaulka won 1:0 in the spring rematch.
