3 and a half year stadium ban! Valladolid fans punished for racist insult against Vinícius

It was similar at the end of December last year in a match against Real Valladolid. The fans racially abused Vinícius, shouting at him that he was a “fucking nigger” or a “fucking monkey”.

Unfortunately for them, the camera caught them on camera and it was not difficult for Real Valladolid to find the names, because they were season ticket holders of the club. Pucella didn’t hesitate to hand out harsh punishments to the fans.

“Real Valladolid’s social disciplinary body has received from the instructor a proposal for sanctions for the people identified by the police for racist insults against Real Madrid player Vinicius Júnior during the match between the two teams at Estadio José Zorrilla on 30 December,” Real Valladolid said in an official statement.

“The incidents have been classified as very serious and the sanctions imposed by the club consist of a three-and-a-half season ticket suspension for each of them, according to the internal regulations for season ticket holders and spectators in general,” the club continued.

Fans will therefore not be allowed to attend their team’s matches for 3 and a half years for racially abusing Vinícius.

“As stated in previous cases, Real Valladolid will have zero tolerance for this type of behaviour with the aim of eradicating it completely,” Valladolid added.
