Inter Milan have completed the transfer of Benjamin Pavard in the last few hours. The French international signed for five years at the San Siro, the Milanese giant will send 32 million euros to Bayern.

Benjamin Pavard is now officially the new signing of Inter Milan. The 27-year-old French international had previously asked Bayern representatives for a transfer, so it was practically only up to the agreement between the two clubs.

We have already reported more specifically in a previous article. In any case, the native of Maubeuge flew to Milan on Wednesday morning to undergo a medical examination so that he could sign his contract.

He signed a five-year contract with the Italian club. Pavard should earn around five million euros a year during his time at Inter.

The famous Milan club will send 32 million euros to Bayern for the French national defender. At the end of the transfer window, Inter will have a solid addition to its defensive ranks.

“Inter is a winning club. Just look at the trophies behind me. I play football to win, that’s why I decided to move to Inter,” Pavard said in an interview with the club’s website.

Pavard at Bayern…

Pavard moved to the Munich club in July 2019 when Bayern bought him from Stuttgart for 35 million euros. The native of the French town of Maubeuge was almost immediately included in the starting line-up.

During that time, Pavard played 163 competitive matches for Bayern. In them he scored twelve goals and twelve assists, received twenty-two yellow cards and only one red card.

And as for the list of trophies won? Four Bundesliga titles, a Champions League championship, a DFB-Pokal or UEFA Super Cup winner and a UEFA Club World Cup winner – a very solid record indeed.
