Benjamin Pavard is currently on his way out of Bayern Munich, whereupon his new employer will most likely be Inter Milan. However, the Bavarian giant has already scouted a replacement, according to Italian media. That could be Pierre Kalulu from AC Milan.

About a week ago we reported that Benjamin Pavard is very likely to leave Bayern Munich and head to Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri would like to bring him for a sum of around 30 million euros.

The 27-year-old Frenchman has already informed Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen of his desire to leave the club in the summer and coach Thomas Tuchel was recently informed of the situation.

It is therefore clear that the Bavarian giant will try to bring in a replacement. In any case, according to the latest information, he has reportedly found one in Milan.

Pierre Kalulu has appeared on Bayern’s radar. A man who has been a very important part of the AC defence over the last two seasons. Especially in the second half of the 2021/22 season, he was the cornerstone of the defensive line of Stefano Pioli’s team on the way to the title.

As reported below by RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Kalulu would join Bayern’s squad on loan with an option for a permanent transfer. It should be noted, however, there has been no official contact between the two clubs so far.

Kalulu in Milan…

Monday’s print edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport also recalls that Bayern are simultaneously in talks with Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah. It should be added, coach Tuchel managed him during his time at Stamford Bridge.

Kalulu transferred to AC Milan in September 2020, from B side Olympique Lyon for just under €1.5 million. The 23-year-old Frenchman has appeared in 102 games in the red and black jersey during that time.

As a defender he scored three goals and three assists. His biggest career achievement so far is winning the Scudetto at the end of the 2021/22 season.
