Will Mehdi Taremi transfer to AC Milan? The Italian giant seems to be fed up and is trying to bring in another reinforcement. The Rossoneri sent a verbal offer to Porto, but the Portuguese outfit initially disagreed. Taremi, however, agreed to move to the San Siro.

AC Milan have spent €110 million so far in this summer transfer window and have brought in several new, very solid players indeed. The most shining example is Christian Pulisic, who was let go by Chelsea for €20 million.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek also moved from London to Milan, this transfer cost the Rossoneri 16 million euros.

The first official summer signing was goalkeeper Marco Sportiello from Atalanta Bergamo. Luka Romero (Lazio), Tijjani Reijnders (Alkmaar), Noah Okafor (Salzburg), Samuel Chukwueze (Villarreal) and Yunus Musah (Valencia) are also among the new faces that have transferred to the San Siro this season.

In any case, the list of arrivals might not be final. Mehdi Taremi could also move to Milan. The Italian big club’s management has made a verbal offer of 15 million euros to Porto, but the Portuguese outfit are asking for ten million more.

As reported below by renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, although AC do not plan to match the asking price, they want to see this transfer through to a successful conclusion. Moreover, Taremi is interested in transferring to Milan, so everything depends on Porto.

Taremi at Porto…

It should be noted, Taremi was also previously probed by Manchester United. But as it seems, AC Milan is the priority for the Iranian forward.

Taremi transferred to Porto at the end of August 2020, from Rio Ave for less than five million euros. Since then, he has played 150 competitive games in the Portuguese giant’s jersey, scoring 80 goals and adding 49 assists on top.

With Porto, he won the championship title at the end of the 2021/22 season, in addition to winning the Portuguese Cup twice. In the 2019/20 and 2022/23 seasons, he was the top scorer of the local top competition.
