Liverpool have thrown themselves headlong into building a new midfield line-up this year and with the arrival of Alexis Mac Allister, another outstanding footballer is heading to Anfield in the form of Dominik Szoboszlai. Jürgen Klopp is thus betting on young guns, but if he succeeds in this move, big things can be expected from the Reds!

Szoboszlai has played only his second season at RB Leipzig. But in each of them he was one of the best players of the German team. He didn’t have much problem with acclimatization even before that at RB Salzburg in Austria, where he spent 2.5 seasons.

Leipzig are therefore leaving two of the best attacking players of the past season – Szoboszlai, who scored 6 goals and 8 assists in 31 league games, and Christopher Nkunku, heading to Chelsea, who scored 16 goals and assisted 6 more in 25 games.

However, the transfer is not yet 100% as Szoboszlai is facing the first part of his medical on Saturday. If the doctors give the green light to the transfer, Liverpool will have to pay the German club 70 million euros, which is the amount of his buyout clause.

The young captain of the Hungarian national team will be a great piece to Klopp’s puzzle as a quality attacking midfielder is exactly what he needs.

There are several talented youngsters filling that role at Anfield, but they are certainly not yet up to the quality that could hold Liverpool to the level that fans have been used to in recent years.

However, even so, he is another very young player who will depend on how he manages to acclimatise to the Premier League. However, we wrote earlier that the Hungarian midfielder has certainly not had any problems with this so far.

Szoboszlai is also very quick, he can play with both feet and we can all look forward to his shots from distance, which could become the highlight of the new season.

But he is also a player who is known for his morale problems. However, Klopp is a very good coach who doesn’t exactly struggle twice with this in his team. And if he does, it’s virtually invisible in public.

If this transfer goes through, it will be a really great boost for Liverpool, when such a player is currently missing at Anfield plain and simple. Moreover, a very promising one.
