Kylian Mbappé’s transfer saga has been dragging on for months. And it’s still stuck at the same point. The PSG management has set its head and does not want to sell its jewel at any price.
But the French superstar has only one year left on his contract, after that he could leave for free. the 22-year-old striker is eager to go to Real Madrid and become the main star and driving force of his team, and he has been a fan of the Madrid club since childhood.
Now comes perhaps the last chance for PSG to cash in at least part of the money they paid to Monaco for Mbappé. It was about 145 million euros.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi still tried to fight for Mbappé and presented him with a luxurious six-year contract, the amount of salary the Frenchman would match the royally paid Neymar. Financial fair-play is simply not played in Paris.
But according to several sources, both French and Spanish, Mbappé has rejected the offer and is only asking the management for one thing. To start negotiations with Real Madrid.
At the moment, PSG is faced with a decision – either to sell Mbappé this summer for at least 150 million euros and earn something, or stubbornly leave the disgruntled player in the team and let him leave next year completely for free.
According to trusted French journalist Loïc Tanzi, PSG slowly began preparing for Mbappé’s departure after his contract rejection. It has thus started to examine the situation surrounding Everton’s Brazilian Richarlison.
